Activity: Participating in or organising an eventParticipation in workshop, seminar, course

    Description

This seminar will be hosted by Public Health Network Cymru (Wider Determinants of Health Unit) and will be chaired by Dr Gareth Morgan and co-chaired by Dr Dan Bowers. It will unite leading voices from policy, research, health, and the housing sector to explore how better homes can mean better health for all. Covering three critical themes; tackling cold homes to improve indoor warmth, enhancing indoor safety to reduce falls risk, and closing the gap between policy, research, and practice; the event will highlight how housing-based interventions can prevent illness, extend healthy life expectancy, and reduce pressure on health services. By fostering collaboration and innovation, this seminar seeks to unlock practical solutions with the power to transform lives in Wales and set a global benchmark for housing-led public health strategies.
