Description
The Taith Mobility Grant funded an exploratory visit that enhanced collaboration and knowledge transfer between South America and the RED DMT Latinx network. Established in 2020, RED DMT Latinx aimed to increase the representation of Latinx voices in dance movement therapy. The grant supported four workshops on research skills in Santiago and smaller regions, two workshops on professional identity, and a workshop for LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Additionally, links were established with Bernardo O'Higgins University to coordinate a hybrid Research Symposium, raising the profile of DMT and fostering connections among practitioners across Latin America.
