Inaugural South Wales Business School Conference 2017

Description

The Inaugural South Wales Business School Research Conference was founded and developed by Dr Nihar Amoncar along with the Professoriate within the business school.

As a then Post Graduate Academic Assistant within the business school writing a PhD, Dr Amoncar after close consultation with research staff and students identified there was no KPI for measurement of research output within the business school nor there was a platform for research active staff and students to share their research with colleagues.

The first conference turned to be a major success with over 21 staff and students presenting at the event hosted by Dr Amoncar. Prizes and certificates were given to winners of best track presentations and best overall paper.

Prof Dylan Jones Evans (Asst PVC Enterprise at USW) was invited as the keynote speaker.

Dr Amoncar won the Best Paper award for the Enterprise track.
