The project was developed into the unique client-consultant scenario involving MSc Marketing students studying Social and Sustainability Marketing with Dr Nihar Amoncar.
The first stage of the project involved Dr Amoncar and Martyn Rowling (Head of Business clinic) visiting WCIA at their head office and setting parameters for the project. During the second stage, the Deputy CEO of WCIA was hosted at USW to deliver a presentation providing the students with project brief.
The students conducted independent research exploring the several social marketing campaigns initiated by WCIA and evaluating their effectiveness against the theoretical principles of Social Marketing.
The students delivered the output of the project via oral presentations in the presence of the CEO of WCIA wherein suggestions were given to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the WCIA social marketing campaigns.
