In this session, Dr Cath Camps drew on her research exploring the perceptions of Cornish lecturers in post-compulsory education and her work as an Educationalist in Wales. She set out an exposition of the challenges currently facing teachers looking to decolonise their curriculum and the importance of considering both internal and external colonisation when doing so. Dr Camps explored how this work might inform teacher practices in Cornwall and their impact on the experience of students including those who define as Cornish.
