    Long term athlete development (LTAD) is not lacking models and data driven arguments but progress is still limited. Insights from behavioral science outline that changes to practice may be easier to attain when they are easy to apply and do not overtly alter current practices. This article outlines how rethinking warm-ups using a practical behavioral approach can provide a simple, flexible but
    effective way in which to integrate LTAD into any program.
