Crynodeb

As a result of the ever increasing popularity and expansion of the Internet and web technologies, learning and teaching is being transformed. This brings both benefit and risk. The aim of this paper is to focus on the associated risks as ICT continues to be embedded in the curriculum. Although excellent practice can be cited there are still clear challenges in three major areas, namely, the digital divide, appropriate staff development for all staff and the issue of e-safety and the curriculum. This paper is part of a long term study by the authors in monitoring how the use of technology can become an integral part of teaching and assessment and central to the development of, and engagement with curriculum.
