Crynodeb
ABSTRACT: This article considers the way in which the police service in England and Wales and other agencies use intelligence and knowledge to combat the threat of terrorist activity. It focuses upon the application of intelligence and highlights the role of knowledge management, describing the process involved. It also critically analyses how intelligence is captured, stored, processed and shared, and suggests methods of improving the use of such intelligence to provide a more effective and efficient way of tackling terrorism and other serious, organised crime.
