Crynodeb

In this paper, the proposed antenna is designed using the commercial software HFFS. This work aimed at improving the characteristics of a dielectric resonator antenna. Different techniques are applied to improve the characteristics of multi-band antennas, and in this context this paper is dealing with antenna operating in three different frequency bands, i.e. 2.2-2.5 GHz, 3.15-3.75 GHz and 4.5-6 GHz; this is obtained by the excitation of the two-hybrid modes HE11į and HE12į in the Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (CDRA). The obtained results are discussed and compared to similar DR-based antennas results in the literature.
