    The evidence base for Supervised Consumption Sites (SCS) is limited in scope and strength. More evaluation research, based on rigorous and robust designs such as randomised controlled trials, is needed to provide evidence of effectiveness that can be used to support expansion of SCS into new jurisdictions.
